Enjoy lake and stream fishing in a pristine wilderness environment. We are a fly-in fishing lodge...there are no roads connecting us to the crowds. Our excellent home water fishing, together with float plane flyouts, is your ultimate Alaska adventure!

Located at the headwaters of the world famous salmon and rainbow trout streams of Alaska's Bristol Bay-Iliamna fisheries, Valhalla Lodge has a history woven into the fabric of Alaska outdoor life.

At Valhalla Lodge, you will fish the top producing streams in the Lake Iliamna-Katmai-Bristol Bay Areas. A combination of floatplane flyouts, river jet-boats, and float trips with inflatable rafts are used to access the top streams. A special attraction is our excellent home water fishing, minutes from the lodge with jet-boats. Flightseeing, exploring wild, remote streams, wildlife viewing, fishing with the bears...it's an Alaska adventure!

    Fly-outs

Our key location between Lake Clark National Park and Katmai National Park allows us access to some of the world's best fishing. Experience the grandeur of this vast country, and its superb fishing, with your own private floatplane that stays with you. Fishing conditions can change from day to day, stream to stream, with flyouts...we put you on the best fishing streams any time. The opportunity to fish these remote waters, and view the diverse wildlife is truly a wilderness adventure!

Our floatplanes stay right with you. We do not do multiple drop-offs, as the weather can roll in making it difficult to get everyone picked up at the end of the day. The combination of Katmai, Kvichak & Nushagak salmon, Katmai & Iliamna trout, and our home stream fishing is hard to beat.

    • Floatplane flyouts take you to the best fishing in the Lake Clark National Park, Katmai National Park, Lake Iliamna, Kvichak & Nushagak areas.
    • Home waters include lake & stream fishing for lake trout, dolly varden trout, rainbow trout, arctic grayling, sockeye salmon & silver salmon. Several miles of clear water stream fishing for trout & grayling...perfect for fly fishing & wading.

Over 40 years experience flying & guiding in Alaska. Our fishing friends are important to us...and, we have a top notch crew to take good care of you.
