Midnight Sun Outfitting is a first class fishing and wilderness tourism operation. Specializing in high class, guest-tailored adventure trips and experiences in the pristine Yukon Territory of Canada. We are passionate about wilderness tourism and the Yukon landscape. This is the MOST remote fishing lodge in the ENTIRE Yukon. This is our winning feature—we are located in the most pristine and wild and remote location in probably all of Canada.

Our fishing trips start at Hart Lake Lodge, where the waters are vibrating with Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout. A getaway in itself, Hart Lake is situated in a large valley with towering mountains surrounding, giving our guests a 360 degree view of untouched Yukon wilderness. Hart Lake has some of the best fishing in our area, wildlife viewing right off the porch, easy hiking trails to picturesque views and old-fashioned traditional hearty meals. The lodge accommodates around 10-20 people, with delicious prepared meals for guests and rustic cabins for accommodations. The options are endless where to go next--stay at lodge for duration of trip, fly in small Supercub bush plane to another lake or ride via horseback to another fishing camp.

The fishing is excellent throughout the Peel River Watershed, with an abundance of Arctic Grayling in every river, lake and pond. As well, in selected lakes and rivers, there are great catches of Arctic Char and Lake Trout.

Our remote fishing camps are rustic log/wood cabins, comfortably set up along side a lake or river. Midnight Sun Outfitting has about eight remote fishing camps separate from the Hart Lake Lodge, that we suffle guests to and from, or as the guest desires.

We are pleased to tailor your trip to your exact needs and wants. We have so many resources that we can accommodate and tailor to anything and everything a client desires.

We're proud to offer you an authentic Yukon wilderness experience and we welcome you to come experience the "True North".

    Other Activities Available

There is plenty to do just around our base camp for guests. We have small rafting trips, horseback rides, hiking, wildlife viewing, try your hand at making Native bannock (Northern bread), aerial tours, feast on wild game and hearty meals, or simply drink tea on the porch and soak up some R&R.

Come raft the most beautiful rivers in the famous and protected Peel River Watershed. The Hart River and the Wind River are some of those most pristine and most enjoyable in all the Yukon. These two rivers are some of the most remote and Northern waters in the entire Yukon, and very popular with rafters alike.

The Hart and the Wind Rivers are family friendly and provide a peaceful and enjoyable rafting trip. The waters do not have any serious rapids or aggressive water.

The scenery of these two rivers is spectacular. Mountains cascade up from both rivers and offer great wildlife viewing and phenomenal hiking opportunities. Wildlife runs abundant in these areas and daily sightings of Dall and Fannin sheep, Alaskan-Yukon moose, Mountain and Barren Ground caribou, grizzly and wolves are very common.

    Backpacking/Hiking Trips
The Werenecke and Olgivie Mountain ranges provide landscape like no other! Midnight Sun Outfitting therefore has some of the greatest hikes and tramps that is offered in the entire Yukon. The mountains offer great diversity in hiking difficulty, and for any levels of fitness.

We offer guided trips through this wild and pristine land. Anywhere from half day hikes to overnight to multiple overnight hikes are offered. Tramp for one day or one month, we offer it all.

    Wilderness Viewing
Our area is rich in wilderness and game. The Yukon being so vast and untouched has diverse and healthy populations of Alaskan-Yukon moose, Dall and Fannin sheep, Mountain and Barren Ground caribou, grizzly, wolves, wolverine and an array of Northern birds.

View from small hiking trails, horseback, in an airplane or simply off the porch of our lodge. One of our guides are available to teach guests about the animals and their habitat. Specifically one of our guides is a biologist, however all our guides are skilled, experienced and keen to share their wealth of knowledge with our guests.

Wildlife photography in our area has won and been entered in countless photo contests and displayed in various art galleries. The opportunities are endless.
