    Namushka Lodge is a self catered, fly in fishing, outdoor adventure lodge situated 33 air miles (53 km) east of Yellowknife, NWT. Spend your days fishing for lake trout, northern pike, whitefish or pickerel on one of our new 16' Lunds (with steering console), or tour around on the 20' pontoon boat listening to tunes enjoying the pristine Harding Lake.

    Nestled among birch, poplar, spruce and pine trees on the northern tip of pristine Harding Lake is Namushka Lodge. Harding Lake is 9.5 miles (15 km) long and up to 3.5 miles (5.5 km) wide. Your stay at Namushka Lodge will be one of the most relaxing and satisfying holidays you will ever have, an experience never to be forgotten.

    Our rustic main lodge building consists of a do-it-yourself kitchen, a dining room / bar and a comfortable, cozy lounging area with a woodstove and a library of a variety of books. Unless special arrangements are made, guests plan their own menu, bringing and preparing their own food and refreshments. Cabins are equipped with bunk beds which include sleeping bags, pillows and fresh linens and are heated by propane heaters. Our wash house boasts the convenience of a modern home with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, sinks and showers.

    The Northwest Territories, in addition to being a fisherman's paradise, offers the non-fishing visitor and outdoor enthusiast a variety of other activities. This includes bird watching, rock hounding, photography, canoeing, a game of horseshoes or stay inside and enjoy a game of darts and good ol' relaxation with family and friends. You may wish to take time to observe the bald eagles nesting on the rocky cliffs, or enjoy the enchanting cry of the loons as you canoe the shores of Harding Lake. From late summer on, as the night darkens, you may have the opportunity to be entertained by the dancing colours of the magnificent northern lights.


    Fresh linens await you in your personal heated cabins. Enjoy the main lodge and sun deck sipping your morning coffee, or relaxing in the hot tub. The main lodge is equipped with a full kitchen (stove/oven, large grill, BBQ, silverware, pots/pans/dishes), dining table and lounge area. Flush toilets and hot showers.
