Celebrating more than a century of tradition, Waterfall Resort spans 52 acres on Prince of Wales Island near Alaska's famed Inside Passage. Accessible only by air and sea, our record-setting salmon cannery turned legendary sport-fishing resort draws anglers from around the world (60,000 to date), who come to our remote shores in pursuit of wild king and silver salmon, halibut, lingcod, and more than 20 other fish species.
Fly in the Morning, Fish in the Afternoon
Happily, we\'re just a short sea-plane flight away from Ketchikan in Southeast Alaska, 90 minutes from Seattle, Washington. At Waterfall Resort, guests can fly in in the morning and they\'re on the water fishing with us in the afternoon.
Dedicated Service, On and Off the Water
It\'s always great to see the familiar faces of our many repeat guests, and we\'re honored by those who\'ve made a stay at our historic property an annual tradition passed from one generation to the next. While we\'ve hosted our share of pro athletes and celebrities over the years, our core clientele includes both newbie and longtime anglers, corporate and nonprofit groups, and vacationing families, who return to Waterfall Resort Alaska year after year.
We\'re equally pleased to meet first-timers, and we can\'t wait to share with you what makes Waterfall Resort so special. Whether it\'s the exhilarating fishing, friendly tournaments, hearty dining, evenings in the saloon, or dedicated service with a smile, our goal is to deliver the finest sport-fishing adventure in Alaska—on and off the water.

After an exciting day of wild Alaska sport fishing, relax in comfort in Waterfall Resort Alaska\'s inviting accommodations: our historic Boardwalk Cabins, oceanfront Lodge Rooms, executive-style Egg House Suites, and family-size Tongass Townhouses.
We host guests in true angler style. Most of our guest quarters once housed the intrepid fishermen of Waterfall Cannery, the record-setting salmon cannery founded in 1912. Now carefully renovated, all accommodations have ocean or forest views, private baths, and in-room conveniences such as coffee/tea makers and mini-fridges.
Built in 1912 to house Waterfall Cannery crew, our 26 restored and renovated Boardwalk Cabins are closest to the docks and fishing boats. Each historic cabin hosts two anglers and features two double beds, an in-cabin bathroom with shower, a mini-fridge, and a coffee/tea maker. Best of all, you can watch the waterfront action from your porch.
Conveniently located upstairs from the General Store (with its supplies and sundries, snack-stocked lounge, and Wi-Fi hotspot) our ten historic Lodge Rooms each feature two double beds, an in-room bathroom with shower, a mini-fridge, and a coffee/tea maker. These rooms are nearest to the Dining Room and Lagoon Saloon, and all have ocean or forest views.
Egg House Suites
Constructed from the building that once stored Waterfall Cannery\'s coveted salmon roe, our four premium Egg House Suites are within a short walk of Waterfall Resort\'s General Store.
Private, extra-spacious, and right on the water, these well-appointed quarters accommodate up to four guests with two queen beds, expansive bathrooms with shower and tub, separate sitting and dressing areas, mini-fridges, coffee/tea makers, wet bars, and wraparound decks with panoramic views of the Ulloa Channel.
Great for families and hikers, our four Tongass Townhouses rest right up against the forest, handy to our creekside trails and namesake waterfall. These two-story accommodations host up to four guests and feature two bedrooms (one with two double beds; the other, two twins) and two bathrooms upstairs. Downstairs there\'s a full kitchen, washer/dryer, half-bath, and sitting area with cozy fireplace that opens to an oceanfront balcony.
Along with the fully stocked bar, the Lagoon Saloon features big-screen TVs, pool and ping-pong tables, darts, Wi-Fi and landline Internet access, a poker room, cannery memorabilia, plenty of comfortable sitting areas, and views of our saltwater lagoon and the Tongass National Forest.
Amenities also include daily housekeeping and ice delivery. And every room and suite is within walking distance (or a courtesy golf-cart ride!) of the docks, Dining Room, and Lagoon Saloon. Nonsmoker? Ask for one of our nonsmoking rooms.
Each of our 27 custom-designed, 25-foot North River cabin cruisers is built for safety, performance, comfort, and convenience. Features include heated cabins, air-suspension seats, powerful fuel-injected outboards, and a full complement of Furuno marine electronics.
