We are your Kenai River fishing guide service. Sharing our home waters with our guests is our passion. We specialize in small group personalized guided Alaska fly fishing and light tackle Alaska spin fishing trips in the beautiful Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. We have rare permits that allow us to offer Alaska guided fishing trips on the very best water.

​We cater to small groups, up to 4 fishermen per guide. Availability is limited.

What's Included?

Return transportation:

If YES, the lodge covers all transportation costs to and from the Travel Destination. If NO, you are responsible for all costs getting to and from the lodge.

  • All fishing licenses and tags are included.
  • Waders are provided free of charge for freshwater fishing trips.
  • The included fish processing is for up to 50lbs per person.

Deposit required: 50%

Balance due: 30 days prior to arrival.

Deposits are refundable only if the reservation is cancelled by Alaskan Angling Adventures LLC. Our guides are scheduled ahead of time; therefore trip itineraries cannot be changed within thirty days of reservations. If a guest decides not to fish on a day there is no refund or credit for a fishing day not used, as our guides are already scheduled. Any changes must be made at least thirty days prior to the existing reservations and are based on availability. Alaskan Angling Adventures LLC. does not guarantee the catching of any species of fish. Actual guide service may be other than Alaskan Angling Adventures LLC. Alaskan Angling Adventures LLC. may work in conjunction or contract with other guides. ACCOMMODATIONS

Description

Guest accommodation depends on several factors.  Availability, group size, group dynamic (couples or singles for example), and time of year are some of the factors used to determine exact accommodation. Here are some of the accommodations you may stay in during your trip:

Sunrise Inn: A year-round, full-service café, bar, and motel in Cooper Landing, Alaska. We are located at milepost 45 of the Sterling Highway and offer many amenities for those passing through or looking to stay awhile. In addition to food and lodging, we also have an RV park, gasoline pumps, and propane refills.

The Hutch Bed & Breakfast: Nestled in the small Cooper Landing community, this cozy Bed and Breakfast is your home away from home. Located on the Kenai Peninsula, just five minutes away from the headwaters of the world-famous Kenai River, it is the perfect location to launch your Alaska vacation. Built in mid-1990’s, the three-story cedar framed lodge features twelve individual rooms with private baths. Select a room with either a king, queen, full, or twin-size bed. A fully furnished two-bedroom cabin built in 2008 is also available. Guests can start their morning with a warm cup of coffee while enjoying our hearty continental breakfast. Then in the evening come relax and enjoy telling about your day’s adventure around the campfire’s glow. Learn more by clicking on the images below.

Eagle Landing Resort: We have four river side cabins that are situated along the world famous Kenai river and on over 4 acres of land. Our cabins range in size, comfort and budget. Each river side cabin can accommodate various group sizes, ranging from 4-8 people and include cooking facilities and 1-2 bathrooms.

Riverhaven Cabins: These beautiful cabins rest on one acre of river front land on the beautiful Kenai river in Cooper Landing, Alaska. This property consists of one large cabin, one small cabin, and one chalet.

    Kenai Fjords Boat Tours (May 20 – October 15)
    A visit to Kenai Fjords National Park is a showcase of marine life on the grandest scale. Watch for calving glaciers and enjoy the abundant wildlife in one of nature’s most amazing places. You won’t be the only one visiting this summer. Multiple whale species visit every summer and often put on incredible shows.
    Alaska White Water Rafting (May 21 – September 11)
    Class IV-V white water awaits in the canyons of Six Mile Creek. Experience Alaska’s best and most challenging white water adventure with the outfitters who pioneered this amazing run.
    Kenai Lake Sea Kayaking Adventures (May 21 – September 11)
    Enjoy an unforgettable paddle on pristine Kenai Lake. The turquoise waters wind and weave for 22 miles providing vast wilderness for wildlife. The surrounding Chugach Mountains offer breathtaking views and exhibit the true essence of rural Alaska. Your guide will provide basic sea kayak instruction for your safe and enjoyable adventure.

    BOATS

    Description

    Freshwater boats are 20 foot Willie. Many areas are non-motorized but the boats are equipped with 9.9hp outboard motors for use in motorized areas. Saltwater boats are custom built Aluminum and vary in make, model and size. Equipment includes fly-rods, spinning rods, baitcasters and all terminal tackle.

    Driving Directions
    From Anchorage: Follow Hwy. 1 south. At the junction with Hwy. 9 follow signs to Homer/Kenai/Soldotna. About 15 miles after the turnoff you will come to Cooper Landing. Total driving time is approximately 2 hours.​

    From Soldotna: Follow Hwy. 1 north for approximately 1 hour to Cooper Landing.​

    From Homer: Follow Hwy. 1 north for about 120 miles. Total driving time is approximately 2.5 hours.

    From Seward: Follow Hwy. 9 north. At the junction with Hwy. 1 follow signs to Homer/Kenai/Soldotna. Approximately 15 miles after the turnoff you will come to Cooper Landing. Total driving time is about 1 hour.
