Overview

Steve Mawdsley’s Reel Crazy Fishing Charter offers premier sports fishing in Winter Harbour, BC, a remote hamlet on Northern Vancouver Island (near Port Hardy). Winter Harbour sportfishiing is second to none in the world.

Steve’s Reel Crazy Fishing Charters chose Winter Harbour to operate from because without a doubt, Winter Harbour is a low pressure fishery. Winter Harbour also boasts some of the wildest remote wilderness in the world.

Steve is your Winter Harbour number 1 fishing guide and host aboard the FV “Reel Crazy”. Steve fishes 2 anglers per boat providing exceptional classic sportfishing in Winter Harbour and Quatsino Sound. We fish for wild Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho (Silvers), Red Snapper, Ling Cod and Halibut…at the same time providing breathtaking scenery and photographic opportunities. Catching your limit of large salmon is the norm at Winter Harbour.

What makes us unique:

  1. Winter Harbour is a low pressure fishery and also boasts some of the wildest remote wilderness in the world.
