Overview

River King Outfitters is located on the banks of the Nushagak River in the Bristol Bay region of SW Alaska near the town of Dillingham. With Bristol Bay having the largest wild salmon run in the world, the Nushagak receives the largest King Salmon run anywhere in the state of Alaska along with mind blowing numbers of Sockeye, Coho, Chum and Pink Salmon. We are fortunate enough to own 120 acres of our own private land located right on the river. River King Outfitters offers a semi-guided fishing experience. Your group will be given a full orientation on the river by one of our professional licensed fishing guides. Our guides will teach you everything you need to know about catching fish & operating a boat on our stretch of the Nushagak. Once you are comfortable & catching fish we turn our boat over to your group and you get the freedom of fishing on your own schedule for as many hours a day as you want and with up to 20 hours of daylight.

What makes us unique:

  1. The Nushagak River is home to the LARGEST King Salmon run anywhere in the state of Alaska! With other regions in Alaska battling depleted salmon runs and large crowds why fish anywhere else?
  2. Our remote location on The Nushagak River provides mind blowing, uncrowded, world class fishing on traditional tackle & on the fly.
