Overview

Let us be your concierge. Our charming newly remodeled cabins are a perfect place to base your Alaskan adventure. We are located across the bay from Homer in the secluded wilderness of Kachemak Bay State Park. We have partnered with local experienced guides, who will make every excursion memorable for a lifetime. Our certified Chefs will provide delicious, home-cooked meals to fortify you for your days’ adventures and to welcome you home each evening. Come and enjoy the peacefulness from our many decks. See breathtaking views and wildlife under the tranquil Alaska sky. We are on a private beach where you can watch the sunset over Yukon Island. Join us and Start Living the Dream!

HOMER, ALASKA IS THE HALIBUT CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. But let’s not forget the Salmon, Rockfish, and Lingcod. World-class fishing is right out our front door. We have partnered with North Country Charters who bring experienced captains with 40+ years of local knowledge. At the end of your day’s adventure, you’ll bring the fish back and we will process and package it to bring home with you. Make sure your freezer is empty before you come to the lodge because bringing home 25 to 100 lbs of fish is not uncommon.

We are family-owned and operated. Joe, the family patriarch is an avid sportsman. He caught his first fish at 5 years old with his Uncle Ricky and he was ‘hooked’. Over the years our family has traveled fished, explored, and always looked for adventure. Originally from the Midwest, lived on Maui, and eventually fulfilled a lifelong dream to live in Alaska. A great friend and mentor, Roger, shared his love of Alaska with us and inspired us to create this first-class lodging experience with a heart of hospitality. With over 35 years in the hospitality business, Joe is a certified trained chef who likes nothing more than to share homecooked meals with family and friends. Our family’s goal is to exceed your expectations and create memories of a lifetime surrounding this amazing Alaskan experience. We look forward to having you join us in our passion for the outdoors.

Our guides will take you to our favorite overlooks.  When in season wild berry patches can be found.  Who knows, maybe along the way will find some wild mushrooms too.  Being among the wildlife is what Alaska is truly all about.  Majestic cliffs, Glaciers, Waterfalls, and Endless Views are all part of this unforgettable walk with mother nature.

Paddle to our private lunch locations. Along the way see Puffins, Sea Otters, Dolphins, and Whales. The calm waters allow us to view Grewingk Glacier, Elephant Rock, Yukon Island, Fiords, and Sea Cliffs.

    Bear Viewing

What is more majestic than an Alaskan Brown Bear? Just a short flight over to Katmai and Lake Clark National Park to see the Alaskan Grizzly Bears.
