Overview

Bakers Narrows Lodge, located just 1/2 mile from the Flin Flon airport on Magnificent Lake Athapapuskow is one of the finest Trophy Fishing Lodges in Northern Manitoba, Canada. We offer a variety of Premium Deluxe Fishing and Regular Light Housekeeping packages to excite the most demanding angler featuring World Record Lake Trout, Monster Northern Pike and Gigantic Master Angler Walleye along with many other species. Enjoy staying in our modern 2 bedroom log cottages supported by our full service lodge and dining facilities combined with a wide variety of fishing boats and float planes for remote fly-outs, along with an assortment of the latest fishing tackle and complete bait supplies, we have what it takes to become your favorite fishing & wilderness vacation destination.

Our fishing lodge is a great place to stay, whether it’s for fishing, family vacation, wedding, reunion, corporate retreat or just overnight accommodation, the family owned and operated business is sure to meet your needs when you are staying in the Flin Flon area.

Enjoy your stay in one of our 15 beautiful modernized log cottages uniquely situated on the shore of Lake Athapapuskow or stay in one of our newly built lake front micro cottages.

At Bakers Narrows Lodge, fishing is taken seriously. It is not uncommon to catch over 100 fish per day on these lakes. 2 guests from Minnesota caught 330 pike on one of our fly-out lakes in one day and over 300 walleye in one day on another lake…but who’s counting! Guaranteed NOT to be disappointed, Come and experience the unlimited quality of Manitoba fishing on Lake Athapapuskow and our abundance of remote fly-in day lakes.

Our daily fly-in fishing trips to remote lakes are an adventure that will take you where few have ever gone before. Whether your goal is a bountiful catch of Walleye, or fighting Monster Pike over cabbage beds in remote bays, or the excitement of flying into a pristine wilderness location to enjoy the scenery, the wildlife and the congenial company, you will not be disappointed. Many of our guests attest to the fact that they have truly enjoyed “the ultimate fishing experience of a lifetime” on their remote fly-out days.

The floatplane departs shortly after breakfast and arrive back at the lodge in time for dinner. Upon landing your boat, motor and gas will be ready for a full day’s fishing. Around noon, freshly caught shore lunch is prepared by your guide allowing you to taste your morning catch accompanied with homemade pan fried potatoes, baked beans and something sweet for desert.

These fly-in fishing trips have much to offer and are truly an experience you do not want to miss. They can also be added as an option to any one of our other packages.

Each guided experience leads you to shore around mid day. Relax and enjoy the smell of your morning catch as it sizzles in a pan over an open fire using our very our Bakers Narrows Lodge Crispy Seasoned Coating complimenting one of our traditional shore lunches. At the end of your stay, your guide will be happy to fillet a few fish for you to take home if you wish. At Bakers Narrows Lodge we promote catch and release using barbless hooks but do allow specific sized fish to be kept frozen and taken home.

What makes us unique:

  1. UNLIMITED PERSONAL SPACE (26 acres of lake front fresh air)
  2. IMMACULATE HOUSEKEEPING (Keeping everything beyond clean)
  3. ISOLATED HEATING SYSTEM (Don’t share the same air)
  4. PRIVATE LOG COTTAGES (Safe & Sanitized)
