Overview

If you’re looking for the fishing trip of a lifetime, look no further than Frontier Fishing Lodge!

We are northern Canada’s most affordable, world-class trophy fishing lodge specializing in Trophy Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling and Whitefish. At Frontier, you will find no hidden fees, and our fishery is so productive that our guests are not required to pay for costly fly outs in order to experience the fishing we have become known for!

A trip to the spectacular Northwest Territories with Frontier is more than a fishing vacation, it truly is the experience of a lifetime. Come explore the far north in an area soon to be Canada’s newest National Park Reserve. Experience the northern lights, arctic wildlife, and of course the best fly in fishing Canada has to offer.

When you stay with us you’re treated like family. The Witherspoons will be your gracious hosts and our staff will make sure every reasonable request is taken care of. Every day will be a new Canadian adventure, as your knowledgeable guide will find the best areas for the perfect catch or whatever your desire is that day. If you want to go for a hike, stop to explore a magnificent beach, or travel the East Arm snapping photos of the amazing boreal landscape, we can make that happen. If you’re more dedicated to the fishing, we will do everything we can to help you have the trip of your dreams.

Many people inquire about the incredible Northern Lights when booking their trip. This jaw-dropping natural phenomenon, seen in late August to early September, has an array of red, green, blue, and violet colors, and is a visual event that you will never forget.

Northern pike are plentiful here at the Frontier Fishing Lodge. With so many of them in the lake, they provide action for our fishers all season long. Lake trout have a personality all their own. Their behavior on the end of a line is a thing of legend.
