The Kenai peninsula is a natural wonder, situated between Cook Inlet to the west and Prince William Sound to the east. One of the last truly wild places in America, the peninsula is home to over 1800 animal species including: wolves, bears, moose, caribou, beavers, eagles and 20 species of fish!
The peninsula is a world class fishing destination offering trophy opportunities for several species of both fresh and saltwater gamefish.
In addition to the great fishing you will find here, there are many once in a lifetime non-fishing adventures awaiting you as well. You will see wildlife that you've only seen in pictures. Natural wonders like the glacier fields will captivate you. Easy day excursions to the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and the Kenai Fjords National Park are just a short drive away.

We offer 50 pounds of free fish processing per person for those staying with us on fishing packages. The 50 pounds is added together for a group and there is no charge until the group as a whole exceeds their allowed poundage. The rate for additional fish processing is US$1.00 per pound. This includes fish cleaning, commercial vacuum packing, and freezing. We have specially constructed boxes that are marked "Fresh Alaskan Seafood" available for US$18.00 each. Feel free to bring your own boxes or purchase them locally if our boxes do not meet your needs.
All cabins include:
Caribou Crossing has been our centerpiece, hosting 3 bedrooms. It sleeps 8 to 10 on the two upper floors and also boasts a Jacuzzi tub and plenty of room.
The Grizzly Den sleeps 4 to 6 in 2 bedrooms on the ground floor unit. This meticulously decorated unit is self-contained.
Eagles Nest - Sleeps 5 - 6 people. Self contained, beautiful furnishings, full kitchen and swings on the front porch make it so cozy, you might forget to check out.
The Captains Quarters is perhaps as it implies, fit for a captain. Eloquently appointed it accommodates a party of 8-9 and it too has a Jacuzzi. This is our highest requested property.
The Conference Room #1 -Features 2 bunk beds with a full size beds on the bottom and twins on top
The Conference Room #2 - Features 1 bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and twin on (King or 2 twins ) is a request only and cannot be guaranteed.
The Conference Room #3 - Features 2 bunk beds with a double beds on the bottom and twins on top.
The Mt. McKinley #1, (lower unit of triplex) has great views of the landscape, cool Alaskan air and comfortable furnishings, it doesn't get any better.
The McKinley # 2 (2nd floor of triplex ) sleeps 5 - 6 with great views of the landscape, cool Alaskan air and comfortable furnishings, it doesn't get any better.
The Mt. McKinley # 3 ( 3rd floor of triplex) has great views of the landscape, cool Alaskan air and comfortable furnishings, it doesn't get any better.
Johnson Landing is our landmark cabin, Accommodating 2 guests, it has a wonderful front porch to enjoy the quiet evenings and maybe catch a glimpse of our resident caribou or moose.

Guided river float trip, brown bear viewing, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, day trips to the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, Kenai Fjords, Harding Ice Field, Homer and Seward.

Deposit required: 30%
Balance due: 30% due on May 1st, remaining balance due upon arrival.
In the event of a total cancellation within 30 days of your stay there will be no refund of deposit.
Cancellation made between 31 and 60 days, a charge of 30% of the contract price will apply.
Cancellation made between 61 and 90 days, a charge of 20% of the contract price will apply.
For personal cancellations, trip(s) may be credited and rescheduled to within 12 months, availability contingent, but any increase in price will be billable and due May 1st in the trip year.

There may be an occasion when trip(s) are cancelled due to weather, a volcano eruption and or fish counts. In these instances Salmon Catcher Lodge assumes no liability and will do our best to reschedule or offer a comparable trip.
After May 1st any change to the trip selection is not guaranteed and will be based on availability.
A limited quantity of quality spinning outfit for Sockeye, Pink or Silver Salmon and Trout is available to our guest, first come first served.
All trips will incur 3% Sales Tax on the package price. Homer adventures only will have an additional 4.5% added Seward adventures only will have an additional 4% added to that specific trip.

Gratuities, lodging en route to Salmon Catcher Lodge not included in your package, meals ? unless contracted, air and ground transportation, fish shipping, and fish boxes are not included in the package price.
