Located just 30 minutes from Victoria International Airport, Vancouver Island Lodge is located on a tranquil private acreage with an exceptional beachfront. From whale watching to hiking, there is so much to see and explore around Vancouver Island Lodge. Sooke’s popularity as a scenic tourist destination has existed for generations. The area’s popularity has increased as a base for visiting the wilderness parks of Vancouver Island’s southwest coast—the West Coast Trail and the Juan de Fuca Provincial Park which includes the now highly popular Juan de Fuca Marine Trail.

Flights from Western Canada arrive @ Victoria Airport at 0830. We are a 45 minute drive away—fishing by 10 am.

The Vancouver Island Lodge is located on a tranquil private acreage with an exceptional beachfront. The lodge has nine bedrooms (6 queens and 3 double beds), with a large common room and kitchen. Guests will enjoy the warm weather and stunning ocean views from the large deck and patio surrounding the lodge, and in the evening can relax in the hot tub overlooking the water.

BOATS

Description

Two 26.5′ welded aluminum and one 26′ Hourston fibreglass, a classic west coast fishing vessel. We use top of the line electronics, safety gear, and fishing equipment.

We provide Shimano rods and Islander reels.
