Chulitna Lodge is 180 miles from the nearest road, with fly-in access only. A historical landmark on the shores of Lake Clark National Park, home of Dick Proeneke and his famous black and white film “Alone in the Wilderness”.
From the 1932 homesteaders who built the original cabin, to its current function as vacation destination and artist’s retreat, Chulitna Lodge has maintained a magical rustic nature.
Everyone knows Alaska to be a premiere location for great fishing. Chulitna Lodge has scoured by flight and boat over the huge region of Southwest Alaska to find the best locations and guides available. The fishing is always fantastic, and our beautiful Lodge offers a fantastic location to base our large array of day fishing trip options by float plane, jet-boat, raft, and foot.
Our Mission: to share a love for responsible exploration of our worlds most remote locations, with the intent of passing forward the value of maintaining such places wild, and to personally reap the benefits of life a world apart.
Private cabins, gourmet meals. Unguided fishing for Greyling, Lake Trout or Pike accessed by foot, kayak, or boat drop-off (your choice). Trip can be intermingled with Ultimate Alaskan Adventure Package days for incredible fly-outs!
