Welcome to Firehole Ranch, a world-class fly fishing lodge in Montana. With access to legendary rivers such as Madison, Yellowstone, and Gallatin, our 640-acre ranch offers unparalleled fly fishing experiences. Open for just 16 weeks each summer, we host 22 guests at a time in our beautifully preserved historic log lodge and cabins. Our facilities provide an intimate retreat amidst spectacular scenery, with a range of outdoor activities and gourmet Western cuisine. What's Included?

Full Day

Return transportation:

If YES, the lodge covers all transportation costs to and from the Travel Destination. If NO, you are responsible for all costs getting to and from the lodge.

Equipment / gear / tackle / bait:

Fish processing:

Cleaning, filleting, vacuum packing and refrigerated (or frozen) storage.

All meals / snacks / non-alcoholic drinks:

Deposit required: 50%

Balance due: 15 Days of Booking

  • A deposit of 50% payable by Visa, MasterCard or check, within 15 days of booking will confirm your reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to your visit. Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy. Your deposit, less a $200 cancellation fee, will be happily refunded if cancellation is made at least 90 days prior to arrival. After that we regret that no refund is possible for non-guided fishing days, non-arrival or early departure.

  • We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance. Global Rescue provides a special policy for Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodges. Please contact us for more information.

  • The Ranch welcomes children ages 12 and over.

  • Sky West, the Delta Connection, has daily flights to West Yellowstone from Salt Lake City. United has daily flights to West Yellowstone from Denver. We provide complimentary shuttle service from the West Yellowstone Airport. We are happy to assist you with additional transportation information.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Description

Luxury: The Watkins Creek and Caddis Cabins are entirely private and are our two largest cabins. They each feature a spacious bedroom with a king bed or two twin beds, living room with woodstove, private bath, and private front porch.

Deluxe: We have three deluxe units, which feature a bedroom with a king bed or two twin beds, full living room with a woodstove or fireplace, private bath, private back deck, and a shared front porch with the adjacent traditional unit.

Traditional: The remaining five units are traditional cabins. Each features a single spacious room with a king bed or two twin beds, small sitting area, some with a woodstove or fireplace, private bath, private back deck, and shared front porch.

A corporate buyout is a single group booking the entire lodge. Often done for executive retreats.

Other Activities

Yellowstone National Park Private Tours: Private guided tours are available upon request. Tours are customized for each group based on what the guest would most like to experience. Tours start at $600 per vehicle.

Kayak Tours of Hebgen Lake: Explore the waters of Hebgen with a tour of one of the prettiest lakes in Montana. Three hour tours are $360 per trip for up to 4 people ($90 per additional person) with a six person limit.
