Pacific Tugboat Adventures pioneered the concept of “Follow the Fish” and cruises every day to enjoy world class salmon and halibut fishing on British Columbia’s beautiful Inside Passage. Guests are pampered by a dedicated and friendly crew with tantalizing meals, fine wines and all the comforts of home. Each two guests share a private stateroom and have the use of their own 18 ft. catamaran Skiff. Professional guides take care of keeping you on the fish while you’re captain’s itinerary is set to enjoy the bounties of this infamous coast including wildlife excursions, clam digging, Dungeness crab, wilderness hikes, historical sights and secluded beaches. Step aboard for unbeatable scenery, wildlife and fishing on a legendary tugboat adventure.

What makes us unique:

  1. We “Follow The Fish” daily anchoring in the hot spots of the north and central coast regions of Prince Rupert and Bella Bella, British Columbia, during peak fishing for trophy BC salmon and halibut.
  2. Keep an eye out for the elusive Spirit Bear as we travel the waters of the Great Bear Rainforest.

Details

Pacific Tugboat Adventures’ daily mobility and seasonal relocations add to the questions of where do the Tugboats operate and how to get there. We have chosen two separate regions in the remote northern British Columbia coast, each for their abundance of salmon runs, spectacular scenery, natural wildlife and seclusion.

Prince Rupert – June/July

Prince Rupert is serviced by Canada’s international Airline, Air Canada and can be accessed from all major cities in the USA and abroad. We have travel agents who offer special adventure rates from the United States to Prince Rupert. We recommend considering these options as the savings can be significant.

Pacific Tugboat has also made arrangements with Vancouver Airport and Prince Rupert area hotels that offer you a special tugboat rate while also shuttling you to and from your connecting flights, storing your frozen and professionally packaged catch and offering you free vehicle parking while gone on your tugboat adventure.

Bella Bella – July/August/September

To ease your travel plans, Pacific Tugboat Adventures in association with British Columbia’s largest regional airline, Pacific Coastal Airlines has reserved space for all guests on very comfortable land based aircraft for flights from Vancouver B.C. to the Bella Bella airport. The flight is a little more than an hour. A fifteen minute shuttle after landing takes guests to the vessel at dockside where Pacific Tugboat Adventures’ crew is waiting to greet you. You need only make arrangements to get to Vancouver B.C. which can be easily accessed from anywhere in North America.
