Overview

Three Rivers Resort is situated in the historic mountain town of Almont, Colorado, right by the Taylor River. Our resort has cabins that are really old, some even from the 1800s, and also new ones that have everything you need. We’re not far from where the Taylor and East Rivers meet to become the Gunnison River. Our spot is perfect for a nice escape with clear water full of trout, big mountains, and sunny skies. The Gunnison National Forest is super close, and we’re in a good spot between Gunnison and Crested Butte.

What makes us unique:

  1. Kayaking
  2. Guided Duckie Trips
  3. Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Cabins come in different sizes, from cozy rooms to 4-bedroom options, all equipped with full kitchens, baths, and grills. Some cabins even have laundry and private hot tubs. For more spacious accommodations, vacation homes and loft apartments provide the comforts of home, along with laundry facilities. While we can’t promise specific unit numbers, we guarantee your chosen unit type or better. Remember, all units are “housekeeping” units, meaning there’s no daily housekeeping, so we ask guests to leave units tidy, take out trash, and clean dishes. If you’re bringing trailers or other vehicles, please check with us about parking availability and ensure proper registration and compliance with agreements for certain vehicles.
