CANCELLATIONS
48 hour’s prior notice is required to cancel your reservation with out charge. If you cancel your reservation less than 48 ours then all attempts will be made to re-book the vacant room. If we are unsuccessful at re-booking the room the amount of the first night rental fee will be charged to your card.

For those seeking solitude in nature, our private cabins nestled in the trees offer multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, large living areas, and fully-equipped kitchens. You’ll also enjoy access to a BBQ, a crab cooker, and a fire pit. For a cozy experience for two, consider our Sitka Spruce Cottage, complete with a private deck, a basic kitchenette, and a private propane fire pit. We also have the Cotton Wood Cottage that offers rustic charm, a basic kitchenette, a pull-out sofa bed, and stunning forest views. If you prefer a hotel-like experience, our suites sleep up to four people and come with fully equipped kitchens and outdoor decks. Finally, for our hiking guests, we offer warm and comfortable hiker huts located close to the West Coast Trail. Regardless of your lodging choice, all our guests enjoy access to Wi-Fi and exceptional service from our friendly team.

Each morning, the irresistible aroma of ‘Drum Roaster’ coffee and freshly baked treats wafts through the air, creating the perfect start to your day.

Opening daily at 4:30am, we cater to early birds embarking on fishing trips, hiking treks, or other morning adventures. Our menu features options for everyone, including a hearty breakfast sandwich with free-range eggs and pulled pork, a tangy pastrami and cheddar sandwich, a comforting tuna cheddar melt, and a refreshing veggie sandwich with red lentil hummus. Our 16 oz smoothies, fresh-cut fruit cups, and range of in-house baked goods like cinnamon buns and croissants are perfect for a quick bite. And don’t forget to try our house-made soups and potato salad!

Description

Wild Coast Wilderness Resort has 6 vessels, each custom designed & built for West Coast Vancouver Island fishing. Comfortably outfitted with large heated cabins, enclosed marine toilets (excluding our open air centre-con) satellite stereos and enormous fishing platforms, these boats were custom built to our specs for the job at hand – busy, active and safe West Coast BC fishing.

Planning your trip to Wild Coast Wilderness Resort has never been easier. Nestled in Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, our camp is a mere 2-hour drive west of Victoria via Highway 14. We’re conveniently positioned at the southern terminus of the scenic West Coast Trail. Traveling from any part of the Island is a cinch, whether you choose the picturesque Pacific Marine Circle Route via Lake Cowichan or Sooke.

For those coming from Victoria, you’ll begin your journey on Highway #1, then take the Sooke exit after about 5km. Follow Veterans Memorial Parkway for 4km before making a right onto Highway #14 (Westcoast Road). Continue on this highway, and you’ll find us in Port Renfrew after about 1.5 hours.

Guests joining us from further afield can also plan their routes from Nanaimo, Vancouver, or even Seattle. And remember, our location offers more than just road access. Adventure seekers are always welcome to arrive by float plane or helicopter for an unforgettable entry, or why not sail directly to us? The choice is yours.
