Overview

Situated in the Bristol Bay watershed, home to the world’s largest sockeye salmon fishery as well as strong runs of chum salmon, silver salmon and king salmon. Rainbow King Lodge combines the luxury of a world-class Alaska salmon fishing lodge with the absolute best environment for salmon fishing. Our daily fly-outs take you into some of the most beautiful and unspoiled wilderness in the world, providing you with an Alaska salmon fishing experience where the only thing you’ll have to share it with is the abundant wildlife.

When the day’s fishing is done, there’s more to do at Rainbow King Lodge than hit the sack and dream about your next big catch. Our five-star amenities mean you’ll be living the dream even when you’re not standing on the shore of the lake or in the middle of a crystal-clear stream. You’ll experience luxurious accommodations, gourmet meals, and abundant recreational opportunities.

Situated on the pristine shores of the largest lake in Alaska, Rainbow King Lodge provides luxury accommodations and expertly guided sports fishing experiences in the midst of one of Earth’s last true wilderness environments. With a capacity of only 16 guests per week, you’ll be on first-name basis with the staff the entire time, and you will feel like you’re staying in the very well-appointed vacation home of a friend.

Rainbow King Lodge provides guests access to exclusive fishing spots producing some of the finest specimens of fish you could ever hope to catch. Accompanied by professional and knowledgeable guides, you’ll be taken to where the best fishing can be found along rivers, streams and lakes located across 110 square miles of privately licensed upland territory.

With access to over 110 square miles of upland fishing grounds, we want to ensure you’re in the best possible hands at all times with a ratio of one guide to every two fishermen. It’s a level of personalization ensuring you’re in good hands at all times in the field.

Our fishing guides will provide everything you need including guidance to world-class fishing spots, assist in equipment setup, coaching on casting techniques, catch dressing and more. You are 100% guaranteed to have everything set for you.

What makes us unique:

  1. We are very proud to be able to use renewable energy to run Rainbow King and provide our guests with electric power 24/7. Our guests enjoy hot water, flushing toilets and many other comforts provided by electricity 24 hours a day. We do not have to turn everything off at midnight like many other lodges using diesel-powered generators do.
  2. Rainbow King Lodge combines the look and feel of a wilderness retreat with modern comfort and amenities.
