Overview

The journey to Elk Lake Resort is incredibly beautiful and should be enjoyed. In a region full of natural beauty, the wild and untouched Centennial Valley in Montana is truly special. The Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge protects this large valley from development, covering 385,000 acres. With mountains on three sides, the area feels impressively majestic. People who visit our secluded location often love the drive here. They understand why the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service says, “The Montana Natural Heritage Program has rated the Centennial Valley as one of the most significant natural landscapes in Montana, a tribute to its intact ecological systems, expansive wetlands, diverse native flora and fauna, and unique concentrations of rare species.”

What makes us unique:

  1. ATV Riding
  2. Birding
  3. Water Sports
  4. Yellowstone Park

Elk Lake’s prime summer season is only 17 weeks long, so we often have several requests for the same dates.  With this in mind, once your reservations are confirmed, if you cancel within 30 days or less of your reservation, you are responsible for the full balance unless we rent to someone else. This is because we often turn others away for the same dates after your reservation was confirmed. However, we may be able to fill your spot with someone on our waiting list and then your payment will be refunded, minus your deposit. In the event that you need to cancel, please call us as soon as possible so we can try to fill the reserved cabins.
