ACCOMMODATIONS

Description

Upon your arrival to Arctic Lodges, you and the members of your group will be shown to your own private cabin along the lake. Our rustic log cabins range in size to accommodate the lone traveler, as well as groups as large as 8 people. All cabins are equipped with bedding, towels, toiletries, a full bathroom and a wood stove for those cool nights.

Arctic Lodges is perfectly placed in a cluster of thick wooded islands that provide breathtaking views and shelter from the elements. Accommodating groups from 1-30, Arctic Lodges is a perfect retreat for private or corporate events.

The main lodge consists of a large A-frame structure that gives beautiful views of the lake through the floor to ceiling windows. Featuring a large stone fireplace, billiard table, poker table, satellite TV, wireless internet access, full service tackle shop, clothing and souvenir store, and dining room. Guests are welcome in the main lodge at any time during their stay and are encouraged to treat the lodge like home while there.

Breakfast and dinner are both served in the dining room at the main lodge, while lunch is a shore lunch, professionally prepared by your guide.

In an effort to maintain it’s tradition as a wilderness lodge, Arctic Lodges has kept the original log cabins for guest accommodations, while modernizing them with full private washrooms and wood burning stoves. All of our cabins are fully serviced by our friendly housekeeping staff and offer lake views.

Enjoy the beauty of your surroundings by sitting outside of your lake front cabin. Listen to the call of the loons as you watch them dance on the water in the evening light, as the fish leap from the water and break the silence of a northern Saskatchewan summer night.

We are well aware that time is money and much time can be wasted just getting to our pocket of Canadian wilderness. With our own private, well maintained airstrip that even a Dash 7 could land on, we fly you DIRECTLY on our private charter to our isolated fishing lodge. No need to change planes twice and still have to travel the distance on water. In a little less than 2 hours from the Saskatoon International Airport (YXE), we can have you fishing by 10:30 a.m. or earlier.

Getting to our lodge and back is easy!

All you need to do is get to the Saskatoon Saskatchewan International Airport (YXE). Our flights depart for our lodge at 6:30 a.m. on the first day of the trip. Seeing as it is an early flight, please arrive in Saskatoon the night before your trip and stay at one of our recommended hotels by the airport.

After a 2 hour flight, your aircraft will land on our large private airstrip overtaking a full island in the middle of Reindeer Lake. You will be greeted by our lodge staff who are ready to help you onto the boats and transferred to the lodge, less than 10 minutes around the corner.

Once you arrive at the Lodge you can relax and have a coffee or beverage of choice and our staff will show you to your cabin. Brunch will be served before heading onto the lake and an orientation will be held. We know most are eager to get out on the water so you will be introduced to your fishing guide and out fishing before 10:30 a.m.
