Overview

There is no argument. The Nushagak is the best King Salmon fishing River in Alaska!

With a King Salmon run between 60,000-200,000 kings annually … to say “high volume” is to sell the river short. Where most rivers have gone to “catch and release” or only 1 King, On the “Nush” anglers are still allowed 2 Kings per day, ranging from 18 – 50 lbs. Other Salmon 5 Per Day. A boat of 4 Anglers can land anywhere between 20-60 Kings in a single day!

Alaska’s best salmon fishing river! Approx. 100,000 King Salmon and 1 million+ Sockeye, Silver and Chum!

We have over 20 years experience in Alaska offering wold-class King Salmon fishing and a first class experience to our clientele. Our sister operation on the Saltwater has been rated as one of the top 5 lodges in Alaska and Alaska’s #1 Luxury Lodge.

Clients venturing to the famous Nushagak River will fly into Dillingham, where we will provide RT Air transport to our Riverfront Camp. Options are for 2 – 4 Days of fishing from Mid-June through Mid-July. Our professional guides are ready and setup with tournament tackle or can assist with your own fly gear. We fish the high-volume King Salmon, Sockeye and Chum runs Mid-June though early July.

We fish from boats, with our licensed guides, but you are also able to fish right from camp. If you’re a serious die hard that needs more than 8 hours of fishing per day, we have the location! Grayling and Dolly Varden can be caught on light tackle and fly gear right at the Nushagak Safari Camp.

Take advantage of our Freshwater and Saltwater combo with our 4-star Resort, Trophy King Lodge, to create the best week of fishing imaginable. Up to 4 Species of Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Bear Viewing and Trophy Rainbows all in one week.

The “Experience”
It might be remote, but it doesn’t have to mean “roughing it.” We have showers, sinks and hot water. We vac pack and freezer fish on site and besides providing great daily snacks on board, we also create great meals for our guests that you can not match anywhere in a remote camp in Alaska.

The western view gives us a great waterfront sunset, in a truly peaceful setting. It’s a great fishing location, but more-so, it’s a great overall experience.
